Stop pining for Cannibal Ox

Enough already. Maybe they’ll get back together and make another album, maybe they won’t. But with two recent releases from Vast Aire, Deuces Wild and the excellent Mighty Joseph collaboration with Karniege, and now a new album from his better half, Vordul Mega, on the way, who needs it? Sure, The Cold Vein was dope, but were you really feeling El-P’s surrealism all that much? I’ll take some good ol’ boom-bap any day.
