In response to the unprecedented effects caused by Hurricane Sandy on the East Coast and particularly in the New York tri-state area, East Village Radio (EVR) and Andy Rourke, along with Fender, are teaming up to support the American Red Cross’ aid of those impacted by the storm, as well as entering you to win a signed bass by The Smiths’ member.

“I was deeply touched by the damage and the lives impacted in the wake of the storm,” Rourke notes. “I wanted to do something to help and so being able to call on Fender and to have the opportunity to work through the Red Cross, with all the great things they’re doing is quite humbling. I’m hoping that we can do our part to raise much-needed funds for those that need it the most.”

Beginning Tuesday, November 13, 2012, you can win a Fender Precision Bass autographed by Andy Rourke ofThe Smiths by donating $10 to the American Red Cross. To enter, text REDCROSS to 90999 by Monday, December 31, 2012 for your entry to be eligible.
